Donnie Baker joined TIA Group in January 2024 as a commercial property & casualty sales account executive, leveraging over two decades of industry experience. Prior to this role, Donnie served for 20 years at the largest workers’ compensation carrier in Texas, where he held various positions, including a distinguished tenure as a Large Account Manager.
During his time on the carrier side, Donnie excelled in managing key client relationships and developing tailored insurance solutions for large accounts. His deep understanding of workers’ compensation intricacies and his ability to navigate complex risk environments made him an invaluable asset to the company and its clients.
Graduating from Texas State University with a degree in business management, Donnie demonstrated leadership both academically and athletically as a three-year letter winner and captain of the football team. This early experience instilled in him the values of leadership, teamwork, and dedication, which he carried into his professional endeavors. Throughout his career, Donnie has been committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance and risk management. Holding insurance designations as an Associate in Claims (AIC) and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM), he ensures that he provides top-notch service and expertise to his clients.
Outside of work, Donnie enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three boys, exploring the outdoors, attending sporting events, and playing golf.
